Who I Am
I am Mzamo Mbuyazi, a -year-old developer, VR developer, and designer originally from Mtubatuba (Ogengele). Beyond my professional work, I am a dedicated cricket player for Thandanani Cricket Club. My dual passion for sports and technology drives a disciplined and creative approach to every project I undertake.
My journey into technology and design began with a strong academic foundation and a distinct
passion
for creativity. In 2022, I obtained my National Senior Certificate at Mehlokubheka
Secondary School, where I developed a growing interest in digital
innovation
and problem-solving. It was during these formative years that I realized the potential of
combining logic with aesthetics to create meaningful digital experiences.
I subsequently pursued a Diploma in IT: Software Development at Mangosuthu
University of Technology, successfully completing it in 2025. During my
studies,
I immersed myself in the full software development lifecycle, mastering web technologies,
system design, and user experience principles. This rigorous academic
background strengthened my ability to approach both development and design with structure,
strategy, and precision, laying a solid groundwork for my dual career path.
Currently, I am completing my in-service training at Allinit Pty Ltd as a Full Stack Developer (July 2025 – Present). In this role, I work on both front-end and back-end development, building functional, user-focused digital solutions while continuously honing my technical expertise. My portfolio includes successfully deployed projects such as Mehlokubheka Secondary School, alongside various other corporate and civil engineering websites featured on my home page.
Beyond code, I am an entrepreneur at heart. In 2023, I founded Luminary Wear, a clothing brand officially registered under CIPC. What began as a school e-commerce project on Shopify evolved into a recognized business after a successful public presentation. Building this brand gave me hands-on experience in branding, visual identity, marketing, and entrepreneurship—merging creativity with business to turn ideas into reality. We also specialize in high-quality uniforms for schools and corporate entities, ensuring a professional and cohesive look for teams and institutions.
Alongside software development, I specialize in graphic and brand design. I am proud to serve as the Graphic Designer for Oqhawekazi Team Blue, where I focus on creating clean, professional, and impactful visuals. Whether it's crafting brand identities, websites, logos, or high-quality print materials (business cards, banners, etc.), my goal is to develop innovative solutions that leave a lasting impression.
